Students may check out 2 books from the library for a period of 2 weeks. If books become overdue, a fine of 5 cents per day will be assessed. Students will not be allowed to check out additional books/materials until overdue books are returned and fines are paid. Students will not be able to receive their report cards until books are returned and fines taken care of. In the event of a lost book, students will be the assessed the cost of replacing the book.
Students having more than one study hall per day will be allowed into the library only during one of those periods. If students do not have a study hall during the day, they may come to the library during their class time with the permission of their classroom teacher. They are expected to have their work completed for that teacher when allowed to do so. Students may also come to the library in the mornings before school and immediately after school when necessary.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a quiet and orderly manner while in the library or they will be asked to return to their study hall or classroom.
