The overall objective of the Sidney Public Schools is to encourage and create an atmosphere wherein each student, insofar as he or she is capable, can secure information, develop skills and acquire social attitudes and environmental awareness so that he/she will be a well-adjusted and responsible individual in a functioning democracy. The Sidney Middle School, therefore, coordinating its effort with the family, the community, and the state is the ever-growing, ever-changing instrument designed to prepare each student to meet the challenge of his time.
