Sidney Elementary School Library has over 12,000 Accelerated Reader quizzes for books Kindergarten level through 6th grade, primarily, with some at even higher levels for more advanced readers.

 

Students take short, objective quizzes on the computer.  The quiz results provide feedback to students, teachers, and parents that the student has read and comprehended the story.

 

Besides providing a great incentive for students to read, the quiz results immediately show whether the student is reading at his or her ability level.  If a student is having problems, the Accelerated Reader program provides immediate feedback.
