    100th day of school

What a busy 100th Day! Thank you to all the parents who made this day very special:

    - We did a fun STEM project using 100 pieces of spaghetti noodles and 100 small pieces of playdough to make a tower
    - Had a pizza party to celebrate for winning the food drive donation contest in December
    - And we got to go to the assembly to  listen to a live music concert!

I have attached to this thread some of our highlighted pictures for this special day. Thank you parents/guardians for what you do. I appreciate everyone's continued support to make this school year special for our kiddos!

    Kind regards,
    Ms. Kendall

    2022 - Valentine

    Dear Parents,

Although February is just beginning, Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. We will decorate Valentine’s Day boxes at school. Please send an empty tissue box to school by Thursday, February 10th. We will decorate our boxes together on Monday, February 14th.

We will exchange Valentines on Monday, February 14th after 2PM. I ask that your child brings a valentine for ALL of the boys and girls in our class to avoid any hurt feelings. We have 21 students.

If you could help your child write his/her Valentines, please be sure to print the names with a capital letter at the beginning and all other letters lowercase. Otherwise, your child may not be able to pass them out or read them independently. You are also welcome to provide Valentine treats that day. If you are interested, I have provided a Sign Up Genius link (https://tinyurl.com/y6j9kc3j) if you would like to participate. If you cannot sign up digitally you are welcome to send me a note of what you would like to pitch in for the party. We do ask that foods are prepackaged and they are nut free.

    Thank you,

    Ms. Kendall

Decorate a Heart - Parent Art Assignment

    Dear Parents and/or guardians,

February is a time for hugs, loves, and hearts! Our class is challenging you to decorate your best heart. Attached to this letter is a heart template. Please write your name at the top and your child's name at the bottom with the date so we can keep track of who decorated the heart so we can hang our work in the hallway for everyone to see.

Remember this is your homework and your child is not allowed to help you. They have colored their own hearts at school.

Thank you for helping to make Kindergarten so much fun!
