Welcome to my class web page!
I am excited to be teaching Communication Arts this year. Prior to teaching in Sidney, I spent some time in Central Montana and Southern Wyoming teaching. My teaching experience has allowed me the opportunity to experience a range of grades from Kindergarten to High School and pursue leadership through the Department of Education in Montana and Wyoming. I serve on Montana's Science Team and Assessment's Team in many roles. I also sit on the N.A.E.P Education Advisory Committee and have worked with Cambium Assessments and EdCounts to build the state science assessments our Sidney students take. I have a strong passion for literacy, appropriate assessments, and science education. I am excited to be teaching High School English where we will extend literacy and writing concepts. I look forward to a great year with you and your teen.
