Sidney Public Schools

 

 

My Background:

• I grew up in Sidney and attended Brorson School and Sidney Public Schools.
• I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Black Hills State University in 2009, which specialized in Elementary Education.
• I graduated with my Master of Science in Education degree from Walden University in 2014, which specialized in Elementary Reading and Mathematics.

My Experience:

• This is currently my 15th year of teaching.
• I was selected as Educator of the Year for Sidney Public School District in 2019.
• I have taught third grade, first grade, and kindergarten.
• I've spent the most years teaching kindergarten. It's my favorite!

My Family:

• I am married to James, and we love cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks.
• We have TWO adorable daughters named Joey and Jamie! This fall, Joey will turn 6 and Jamie will turn 3.
• We have three lovable (and very spoiled) cats.
• I am lucky enough to live in the same town as my parents, siblings, in-laws, and much extended family.
