Ms. Pfau worked at the high school as an English teacher for the past 19 years, but switched to the Guidance area in 2014. She returned to college and earned her counseling degree from MSU-Billings. 2017 marks her first year of working in the counseling area without taking classes as well.
Before that, she was a substitute teacher with the school district for many years.
She has two grown children, Jeremy and Jessie. The apples of her eye though are her granddaughters, Kassidy Jae and Kenzie Ellen.
She is also very proud of her wolfhound Freya and black lab Fin, plus her grandpuppy, Loki.
The counseling is a challenge, but one that Ms. Pfau loves. Even though she is done with classes, she is still working hard to learn how to help the students of SHS in the best way possible.
