LEO CLUB TURKEY BOWLING:
Please announce once a week!
Leo Club is starting up its annual Turkey Bowling food drive for the food bank. This food drive goes a long way with helping the food bank rebuild their supply of food following the holiday season. In order to assist them, we are asking that students bring non-perishable food items to their advisory classes that they would like to donate.
· Students may begin bringing in canned goods to their advisory classes. We will continue to collect food until Thanksgiving.
· Each advisory class will select a bowler for every 10 cans/items of food collected. Therefore, 20 cans/items gets 2 bowls, etc. There is a special case with Top Ramen, however. 5 packages of Top Ramen will be equal to 1 food item. Also, please make sure that food items brought in are not expired!
· Bowling will take place during advisory periods during December. A bowling alley will be set up in the main hallway by the office and turkeys will be used as bowling balls towards bowling pins.
· Each class will compete against the other classes by trying to knock down as many pins as possible. The advisory class with the most pins knocked down will receive bragging rights and 3 early lunches from their advisory class in the new year.
· Thank you for your participation!
