Sidney Public Schools Staff Spotlight October 2024 Carrie Peters & Kim Wenzel Carrie Peters: Carrie has been employed with Sidney Public Schools for 13 years and has held the same position as a 5th grade teacher. She is married to her husband Dan and has 4 children: Max, Maddie, Boston and Sophie. She has many pets: a dog named Millie, a cat named Jazmine, a bunny named Bunster and two ducks named Sam and Pip. Her hobbies include being out-of-doors, playing sports, gardening, piano and being with friends and family. A fun fact about Mrs. Peters is she is the 2nd oldest of 7 siblings and is left handed. Mrs. Peters loves jazz music. Kim Wenzel: Kim has worked with Sidney Public Schools for 8 years. She is a 4th grade Special Education Aide. She is married to her husband JW and has 2 children: Jon and Ben and 4 grandchildren: Maddie, Cora, Mason and Waylon. They have 4 dogs: Hunter, Daisy, Willow and Beth. Kim's hobbies include camping, fishing, driving around in the side by side with grandkids, spending time with family, darts and bingo. Fun fact about Kim is she is the middle child of 3 girls. She loves to work with children. Even on the difficult days, she knows she was there for someone. She loves the people she works with.
