All members of the club write pieces for the paper, often assigned to a specific section where interviews are expected to take place. All members are encouraged to write a personal interest article!

Club Objective:

Our objective is to empower students to share their voices, ideas, and stories while informing and connecting our school community.

Club Mission:

Our mission is to provide accurate, responsible, and engaging journalism while developing students’ skills in writing, reporting, collaboration, and critical thinking.

We welcome SHS students and staff to submit their writing, artwork, photography, or other creative work to be featured in our Arts & Entertainment (A&E) section.

Meetings are held in the SHS library, at least twice a quarter during lunch.

Four complete Newsletters are shared within the district and community each year.
