Sidney Public Schools has been fortunate to have individuals and businesses in the community that are willing to donate to two funds that have a positive impact on our students and families that are in need of assistance. These funds assist our students and families in different ways.

The Needy Student Fund was created to assist families with resources that they cannot afford. These include, but are not limited to the following:
-Winter clothing
-Corrective lenses
-Prescription medication
-Customized footwear
-Tools for school to work jobs
-Customized clothing for school to work jobs
-Activity fees (this is typically run through the Eagle Foundation)
-Classroom fees for projects

The Angel Fund is specific to assisting families that cannot afford school lunches. We have also utilized this fund to pay down all negative lunch balances.

Both of these funds are utilized on a case by case basis. Lunch balances can be paid on an agreed upon payment schedule as well. We do not automatically defer to these accounts. We need to know the situation of the family and make a determination as to whether these funds are appropriate for each individual situation. SPS and our administrators have the final say in distribution of these funds.

If you would like to make a donation to either of these funds, you can go to the district administration office and ask about how you can donate. You can make specific requests or even ask the district to earmark your donation to a specific need. We are very flexible with these donations and appreciate any amount you are willing/wanting to give.

Eagle Country Ford is super excited to be able to host another Drive 4UR Community
event this year Oct 21st 2-6pm. Both West Side Elementary and Fairview
School District were accepted, so with that being said the person that goes and registers for the event gets to
pick which school gets the $20 for their drive. But on top of that this year Ford has tagged on an
additional $10 to Feeding America which our Feeding America affiliate here is Boys & Girls
Club. That’s $30 per qualified drive (and completed post survey) for our community from Ford
Motor Company!
1. $30 to our community just from registering and completing a post survey (if you do not want
to drive you do not have too).
2. Here is the link to register (if I do not see you come to the event, you can be "checked in" and you will get the post survey to complete:
https://d4urc.com/XDBR8
3. This is not a sales event, we will not be trying to sell you anything.
4. A chance to drive a new unit of your choice.

Thank you
