There have been a few questions brought about by social media regarding a possible school shooting threat. This is not true and there is no threat to any building at this time. The school district takes any and all potential threats seriously. When receiving information about a possible threat, the school conducts an investigation to determine whether or not the allegations are credible or even possible. In the event that a threat is identified as credible and possible, we will immediately contact law enforcement and follow all district lockdown procedures. If the threat happens outside of school hours, and law enforcement is unable to locate and detain the individual(s) related to the threat, the school district will postpone school until law enforcement is able to locate and detain the individual(s) involved. This information would be communicated through all social media outlets, emails, texts and phone calls.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority. If you have any information about a possible threat to any of our schools, students or staff members, please contact a building principal or the district superintendent. In the event we have information and confirmation about a credible threat, we will communicate our actions immediately to law enforcement, parents and the public.

This week, our Child Development students participated in two hands-on learning experiences. Local law enforcement, Captain Rosaaen and Officer Drager, visited to teach car seat safety and proper installation of seats.
Students also toured Sunrise Women’s Clinic, where they viewed an ultrasound and learned about the services offered to families in the Sidney area. Thank you to Stacey, Alyssa, and Kaila!

A big week ahead for our musicians! 🎶

We loved having our 2nd graders visit the high school for a special snack-making day! Our high school students helped them create fun, healthy snacks like monster sandwiches, veggie snails, apple teeth, and fruit butterflies. Such a great day of teamwork, learning, and healthy habits!

Huge thank you to Shelby from Richland County Public Library for coming into Busy Beavers and leading such a fun story time and STEM activity! Our kids were so engaged, curious, and excited to learn about winter animals, specifically the jackrabbit. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your talents with us!
