Eagle Foundation
The Mission of the Eagle Foundation is to promote, maintain, and improve the quality of education in the public schools of Sidney, Montana, in ways that traditional funding alone would not allow.
Our grant cycle runs March 1st- April 1st Annually
Foundation History
The Sidney Community Education Foundation, Inc. was formed 2001 by concerned community members. In early 2012, directors sought a name change. The Foundation's official name was changed to the Sidney Education and Alumni Foundation. Additionally, the directors filed for an assumed business name with the State of Montana. The official business name is Eagle Foundation, Inc.
The goal of the Foundation is to develop a long-term method to finance school projects that the Foundation Board feels will enhance the quality of education in the Sidney Public Schools. An added benefit of the Foundation is to provide a method for community members to make a tax-deductible contribution or to procure a tax credit by their donation to this foundation.
Through the Foundation’s efforts, our goals are to solicit and receive public donations, gifts, contributions, grants, loans, funds, property, or assets from which to make distributions for the benefit of the Sidney Public School District.

Funding Request
The Eagle Foundation was formed to promote, maintain, and improve the quality of education in the public schools of Sidney, Montana in ways that would not happen with traditional funding alone.
At the beginning of each school year the Eagle Foundation provides a fund at each building that is for you to use should you have a last-minute project or supply you need to teach. This fund can be used throughout the school year. Teachers simply place the order and fill in on the yellow sheets that it falls with Eagle Foundation's reimbursement and the building.
Each year we run a grant request period from March 1st - April 1st. Requestors are asked to submit the below application with supporting documents as necessary. The board reviews and approves as many grant requests as possible if they align with our mission and we have the funding.
Eagle Foundation also has a fund set up specifically for students' needs to help them participate, whether it is activity fees, winter coats, or a team shirt for students who cannot afford the fees. The Building Principal can make the request for funding using the Kipps Cash Request form (see below).

The success of Sidney Public Schools depends on a number of factors, one of which includes the funding of academic and extra-curricular activities.
