Hello from the library,
To help with home schooling, I have added links on the West Side Library Web Page.
Links that have been added are:
Scholastic Learn at Home--a fantastic resource for reading and learning
Worldbook Online--encyclopedia that is free until the end of the school year.
ABC Mouse: free for 1 month
Keyboarding Without Tears: Make sure they put their fingers in home row position when practicing
Sidney/Richland Public Library--how to get a library card to check out eBooks
It is my hope your children have been reading their library books. There is a drop box by the front office door of the school for students to put their library books in when they are done reading them.
There are more books in the little blue/green free library that is by the drop box if students would like more books to read. They are free for them to take.
If students wish to check out or renew library books, they may search the online library catalog for our school using the West Side Library web site. They can e-mail me or call me at school ddenowh@sidney.k12.mt.us or 433-2530 extension 7534. I will notify them when the book is available at the front doors of the school for pickup.
Students wishing to take AR tests may do so by contacting me. I am in the process of learning to do them through TEAMS where the student can see and read the test and give me the answers. Until then they will be given orally over the phone.
I will try to add more information to the library web site as it becomes available.
Happy reading!
Mrs. Debbie Denowh
